In 2015 her Patti's Sweet Potato Pie sold millions when a YouTube video praising the product went viral. Dash received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National R&B Music Society in 2016. It was recorded as a Blue Belles single due to label conflict. During the years she lost her sisters, Patti LaBelle's parents also passed away her father of Alzheimer's and her mother of diabetes. LaBelle has taken a number of hits in her almost eight decades on the planet and has still come out on top.
